Ba'Aka Women Celebrating After a Successful Hunt

This playful video was taken in the forest just after the Ba'Aka pygmies had a successful hunt. The women do some impromptu mimicking of their "hunting technique". This entails shuffling and rustling the vegetation using branches as shown, to scare hidden prey into running away. Hopefully the prey will run into the nets that have been strung up to block the fleeing animal's paths. The people in the hunter's villages would have enjoyed a good bar-b-que feast later this day on the freshly caught game from this hunt.
